Countries covered

Researchers who earned their PhD less than 7 years ago, are nationals and permanent residents of a TWAS-listed developing country, and seek an English-language postdoctoral fellowship in the state of São Paulo, provided they are not already in Brazil.. For a Francophone African applicant, many countries are indeed covered by the TWAS list, but that alone is not enough. You should also verify your permanent residency status, the exact date of your PhD award, and your ability to comply with the requirement to return to your home country after the fellowship.
